The Todra Gorge runs north from Dades River (Oued Dades) on the route from Marrakech to Erfoud in southern Morocco. The valley floor is incredibly lush with many varieties of fruit trees. The local Berber villagers also farm the valley floor, making use of a system of aqueducts. The lush greenery stands in stark contrast to the rocky cliffs which rise straight up as vertical walls in some areas.
